Because there's no second mode sharing the power budget, Red runs a higher 670nm output than our dual-mode frame. Brightness eases up over the first sixty seconds, then holds steady until the timer ends.

An open frame with no lenses and no glass, resting on a soft rubber bridge. The silicone arms fold flat against the body, and the zip case is small enough for a laptop bag.

Will it improve my vision?
No. It won't change your prescription and it won't replace your glasses. Anyone telling you a light device corrects vision is overselling it. Keep your readers on — the frame is designed to fit over them.
Can I wear it over my glasses?
Yes, and most people do. The open frame sits above the brow and clears most prescription and reading glasses. Very large or thick frames may be a tighter fit.
Is it safe for my eyes?
It's been independently tested to IEC 62471, the international photobiological safety standard for lamps, and classified as non-hazardous. Measured ultraviolet output is effectively at the noise floor. See the actual numbers →
Red or Duo — they're the same price?
They are. Red is tuned for a single wavelength and runs a higher red output. Duo trades a little of that for a second mode. If red light is the only reason you're here, Red is the more focused instrument.
How long before I notice anything?
We can't tell you, and we won't pretend otherwise. Some people describe a difference within a couple of weeks; others don't. That's why the return window is ninety days rather than thirty.
